News of Importance Fund-raiser's throughout the Year Want to help the Falcon Band throughout the year? By clicking on the ticket graphic below, print, and take the flyer to the Applebee's at 5911 Sam Houston Parkway in Houston. Fifteen percent of the sales that night will go to the Falcon band. This happens the third Tuesday of every month from August through May. So enjoy some good food and contribute to the Falcon band at the same time.
UIL Information Pre-UIL competition, Fifth Annual Marching Band Festival, will be held at the Galena Park ISD Athletic Stadium on Wallisville Road Houston, TX on October 6, 2007. The cost of admission for spectators is $3.00. Children below the age of 6 will be admitted at no charge. A variety of concession items will be available through 5:30 pm. Video recording will not be permitted from the press box so as not to interfere with the adjudicators. A designated video taping area will be located just below the press box and to the right. As a courtesy to all bands, please do not move into or out of the seating areas while bands are performing. Please keep the noise level as low as possible while bands are performing. The awards presentation will begin as close to 6:00 pm as possible with trophies given to first, second, and third place in classes 4A and 5A as well as overall outstanding percussion section and auxilliary group regardless of classification. Channelview High School Falcon Band is slated to perform at 2:00 pm. Please see the directions below for maps and directions to the stadium. Come and enjoy the first competition of the season. |
